The outcome will just be a video file if the specification is not right while converting. Then of cause it can be played in your computer only, but your DVD player doesn’t recognize it. It will only be a copy of the video file which is not a real DVD format. To solve this, all you have to do is to change the specification. That is to say you should author the MPEG to DVD specification, namely VOBs( Video Objects), IFOs( Information), and BUPs( Backups) before you convert it, and then they should be placed in a Video_ts folder. Maybe you feel that it is a little troublesome to remember the specs, however, it is quite easy. Most of the software of this kind has the ability of remembering the changes you make on it. Once it is set, the software usually remembers it, so you don’t have to reset it every time you do the converting. To conclude, right clicking the outcome to see if it has two folders: Audio_ts and Video_ts, or else it is wrong. If the outcome does have the folders of Audio_ts and Video_ts, but you still cannot have it worked in your DVD player, then the problem may rest on your DVD player itself. Perhaps your machine is a little picky. It cares the brand of DVDr you use. You can test the outcome in another DVD player to see if it is the problem of your DVD player.

Nowadays there is so much DVD ripping software in market designed for ripping valuable or useful DVD into formats that we need, so it is getting hard to choose one right. I used to have xilisoft and magic DVD ripper. The former one is Ok while the latter one couldn’t meet my need for the quality of the outcome. If you need to maintain the quality as well as possible, then you tick the quality button and as a result you have to accept that the file size might be bigger to some extent. Likewise if you choose the restricted file size encoding strategy, then you have to compromise to the poor quality. So on the whole, there is no method to meet the two requirements, and the end justifies the means.

The big problem of AutoGK is that it can only rip the entire DVD in stead of one episode. This is quite inconvenient, since sometimes people only need to store part of the target DVD. So in order to get the part we need we have to rip the whole DVD. It would be a waste of time and also the outcome would occupy much space in our computer. This is a big disadvantage of it. While the software called DVDFab Decrypter can make up this kind of defect. It has the options for you to choose the episode you want to rip.

Another incident I ran into the other day when I used AutoGK is that a box popped open saying “COM Surrogate has stopped working” and the files didn’t seem to be converting correctly. Later I know that it is the odd version of the ffdshow pack that causes the error in Vista. And changing to another release is the final solution.

My hand phone is Sony Ericsson W800, the best walkman in low price, with integrated media player and wonderful earphones. It supports several file formats such as MP3, MP4, and AAC. The instruction shows music file can work once put into audio file.  The truth is no matter what format the file be converted into, it doesn’t work. I am looking for a new job as a translator. A call from ABC COMPANY arouses my passion on the new technical translation this morning.  It is a company that deals with new media, what we call video on website. But I was out of  fashion. I was too old to handle the new technology and even refuse to learn it. I can not laugh at my mother who is afraid to turn on the computer, because I am just like her to think I am out of the time in advance. I know people are never too old to learn. But I just can not scare away the fear in my heart. The confidence should be called up. And the call is coming this morning.
When arrived at the company this afternoon, I find I am powerful even though the time for prepare is only 4 hours. All of them are strange and boom my head.  How can I get the job if I do not understand the terms? Haha, I can not help to laugh out.
