I had a PC burn up a mother board or something the screen went black but still powers on. The speakers work fine but I clearly could have better sound with bigger boxes. The ripped video is 720 x 480 resolution. I never had this issue before with Verbatim disc. The confusion also comes from the fact that format shifting is legal in other countries, such as Australia (although it is only legal for CDs, but not for DVDs). It seems to me that a slim plasma would look pretty funny wall-mounted over a center channel that is 20 x 7 x 10 like the Energy C-100. YouTube recently launched a 1080p playback mode for selected videos. I appreciate any information on this. GPU assisted decoding would allow playback of 720p and 1080p H.264 or dvd to avi.

Which should i go for, i read that even though it records 24p to view it its played at 30p, same with progressive filming, most tv’s are still interlaced? The old Ferguson needs no filtering for almost all my problem tapes.
