I am looking for a new job as a translator. A call from ABC COMPANY arouses my passion on the new technical translation this morning. It is a company that deals with new media, what we call video on website. What I should do is help to make a website in English. As the wide use of computer, everyone knows the new words related to network and computer such as multi-media, format. But I was out of fashion. I was too old to handle the new technology and even refuse to learn it. I can not laugh at my mother who is afraid to turn on the computer, because I am just like her to think I am out of the time in advance. I know people are never too old to learn. But I just can not scare away the fear in my heart. The confidence should be called up. And the call is coming this morning.
When arrived at the company this afternoon, I find I am powerful even though the time for prepare is only 4 hours. The company’s website is not difficult for me except some terms, yes, they are terms for a girl out of technology : dvd ripper, video converter, ipod, psp and so on. All of them are strange and boom my head. How can I get the job if I do not understand the terms? Haha, I can not help to laugh out. Do not worry, my friend, my boy friend is an export on these software. Congratulation to me! I get the job easily because my boy friend taught me four hours and make these terms as clear as possible.
